Recipe Notes & Shopping List Improvements — v1.4.15

Stashcook is now better at helping you capture the little details that make a recipe work, with smoother shopping list updates too.

This update adds more space for your own cooking notes and improves reliability across recipe saving, shopping lists and startup sync.

Here’s what you’ll notice:

📝 Add notes to recipe ingredients and steps
You can now add personal notes directly to recipe ingredients and method steps, making it easier to remember swaps, timings, preferences or anything you tweak while cooking.

📁 Move collections between folders
Recipe collections can now be moved between folders, including back to Home, giving you more flexibility when tidying up your recipe library.

🛒 More reliable shopping list updates
Shopping list changes now feel faster and handle poor signal more reliably, so updates are less likely to get stuck when your connection is patchy.

➕ Clearer combined shopping list items
Combined shopping list items now show the full “+ more” breakdown, making it clearer exactly what you need to buy.

🔄 Easier recovery from sync issues
Startup sync errors now offer a Retry option instead of sending you back through logout.

🥚 Better saved ingredient details
Saved recipes now keep important ingredient details more reliably, including egg size, yeast type, melted ingredients and can sizes.

This update is focused on making Stashcook more dependable day to day, while giving you more control over the details in your recipes and collections.
