It would be very helpful to adapt the health grading system to fit alternative dietary needs. The current grading system is helpful for people whose nutritional needs are close to the standard reference daily intake. This can make using the grades given to recipes confusing or impractical for someone with additional dietary requirements (e.g., higher protein, sodium, and calorie needs).
Some method of adjusting the calculation of the health grade beyond common diets (e.g., low carb, paleo, keto, etc.) through changing the actual values of specific requirements or indicating high/low needs to reweight components would be the most useful.
